A great battle had been fought over several days between two tight-pantsed leather-mitted squads. One bold army, the Phillies of Philadelphia, had soundly vanquished its southern foes. Were these in fact the world leaders our Spacemen sought? Had this "presidential election" been a diversion all along, a cruel ruse? They made their way to the victorious city of cheesesteaks and liberty. Interested in learning more about the leadership of these "world champions", the spacemen interrogated various Philadelphianiters. (slowly, confused) The Spacemen suddenly found themselves and their ship asea in a crimson flood of ecstatic celebration. Their vessel rocked as the city pulsated with pure joy and exhilaration. The World Champions had been crowned! The Spacemen joined the festivities and paid homage to these exalted heroes. What will happen next? Will the Spacemen meet the mighty Phillies and deliver their cosmic message to the new leaders of the world? Will they realize the limitations of the "world champions'" power and resume their epic journey to the United States' seat of governmental power? They travel in a spaceship bus, a mobile laboratory used for inspecting foreign towns and inhabitants. The viewpoints they collect become raw material for their live shows, where their experience becomes one with their audience. The mission will culminate in the nations capital on Election Day, when the new leader will be named.
